Day 1 – Mtskheta, Borjomi & Akhaltsikhe

09:00 AM: Meet your guide and start the journey with a short drive to Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia. Mtskheta is around 2,500 years old and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you’ll see Jvari Church, built in the late 6th century, offering a stunning view of Mtskheta and the confluence of two rivers.

Continue to Borjomi and sample the famous mineral water from the springs. Enjoy a spectacular 3-hour hike in Borjomi Park along the Borjomula River. End the day with dinner at Nika Khachapuridze’s wine cellar before heading to your hotel.

Day 2 – Vardzia Cave Town & Culinary Masterclass

Afterwards, travel to another province for a culinary masterclass on preparing “Imeretian Khachapuri.” Spend the night at Sazano Village.

Take a short trekking tour to Shdugra Waterfall, with beautiful views of Mount Ushba along the way. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the guesthouse.

Day 5 – Ushguli Village & Lamaria Church

After lunch in a local guesthouse, explore Ushguli on foot and visit the 10th-century Lamaria Church, famous for its remarkable frescoes. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Ushguli.

Day 7 – Chiatura & Katskhi Pillar

Conclude the tour with an excursion in Chiatura before returning to Tbilisi or your desired location.
