Day 1: Arrival day.
Arrival at Tbilisi airport, meeting and accommodation at Tbilisi hotel.
Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 2: Tbilisi and Mzkheta
We start our journey with 15 century old Abanotubani (Sulphur Bath) district, visit Narikala fortress and Metekhi church. Explore Shardeni Street with its many souvenir and gift shops. No tour of Tbilisi would be complete without visiting Sioni Cathedral and Anchiskhati basilica. Continue to Jvari Church built in the end of VI century. From here, we will enjoy beautiful panorama of Mtskheta, which lies between the peaks and the confluence of two rivers. Drive to Mzkheta old city, visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Samtavro Convent. In the evening, we will participate in culinary masterclass to learn preparation of traditional dish Satsivi.

Day 3: Bodbe - Signagi - Gremi - Nekresi - Telavi
Drive to Georgian wine region: Kakheti province. Visit convent of Bodbe, the territory of the monastery offers excellent views of Alazani Valley and Caucasus mountains. Continue to fortified city of Signagi, walk in the old town and visit traditional Marani (wine cellar), here we will taste traditional Georgian wine, made in clay vessels, called Qvevri. After Signagi we drive along the foot of Caucasus mountain range, visit Gremi fortress and hike up to Nekresi Monastery complex (around 2-3 hours) built in the 4th century. Check in to winery hotel, where we will taste famous local dish Shashlik served with the red wine Saperavi.

Day 4: Telavi - Alaverdi - Tsinandali - Tbilisi
We will start with Telavi food market and continue to Alaverdi Cathedral. Built in the early XI century, it is one of four Great Cathedrals of the country and the highest of the ancient churches of Georgia. Next stop is in the Tsinandali estate - well known for its beauty. Prince Alexander Chavchavadze was a poet and a prominent figure in Georgia. In his home, you can find an art gallery and a bar, where you can try Tsinandali - the first Georgian wine produced in accordance with the European technology. Continue to family winery, where we will have lunch and taste homemade wines. Return to Tbilisi.

Day 5: Tbilisi - Ananuri - Zhinvali dam - Gudauri - Stepantsminda
The old Military Highway takes us to the Caucasus Mountains, throughout the route you will be surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. We will make a stop on the bank of the Zhinvali reservoir and visit Ananuri castle. The fortress walls are fortified by several towers, which offer magnificent views, the main church inside the fortification is decorated with rich carvings on the facade in the form of a cross and grapes. Continuing upwards to the alpine ski resort Gudauri, we will follow the road through mountains and after the Cross Pass (at an altitude of 2379 m.) we arrive in Stephantsminda. After check in at the hotel, we will have diner in Kazbegi.

Day 6: Stepantsminda - Gergeti - Juta village - Tbilisi
Today we explore kazbegi area and we drive up to magnificent Gergeti Trinity Church, offering views of Dariali valley and Mkinvarsveri mountain - its peak whitens at the altitude of 5034 meters, and snow never melts there. Continue off-road adventure to Juta village - one of the highest settlements (about 2200 m.). From Juta village we will hike toward the Chaukhi Mountains (around 4-5 hours) surrounded by flowering meadows, rushing rivers, cows and horses. Return to Tbilisi.
Overnight in Tbilisi. Meal: breakfast, picnic. Distance: 180 km / 110 miles.
Day 7: Departure
Check out from hotel and transfer to Tbilisi airport for departure.
